Norco, CA (January 22, 2008); AHRMA Southwest and CALVMX are pleased to announce the 2008 Southwest AHRMA/CALVMX racing schedule to include vintage and post-vintage classes.

In 2008 AHRMA Southwest and CALVMX will partner in a nine round series within the southwest region to include 4 AHRMA national, double point venues.  The remaining 5 rounds will run in conjunction with the CALVMX program to include Barona Oaks Raceway, Perris Raceway and Milestone MX Park. This will be a total of 9 events which will run all AHRMA classes for VMX and PVMX regional points. This year's series offers members of both organizations a chance to earn duo titles, while competing in one, two or both vintage and post-vintage venues.

The Southwest region will also include The Legends Group and Jake's Garage “Best in the Southwest Series!” Ride 3 out of 4 southwest AHRMA national events (Arizona Cycle Park, Perris Raceway, Sandia Motor Speedway and Glen Helen Raceway) to qualify. High-point winner in each class will receive a special year-end award as The Best in the Southwest for all Vintage motocross and Post Vintage motocross classes.
